We would like you to be informed about how we collect and handle your personal data. This includes your name, email address and social media identifier; in other words, it covers any and all information about you that is capable of identifying you.

Under the GDPR we are ‘data controllers’ of your information. We are called ‘controllers’ because we make decisions about how your data is used – for example to prepare marketing materials – and we also ‘process’ your data when we carry out basic activities like storing, deleting and changing the information that we hold. We take our obligation to protect the information you give us very seriously, and we always take care when using and processing it.

COLLECTING AND USING YOUR DATA

We collect data from you via the following ways:

Via sign up to courses purchased through ticket tailor (www.tickettailor.com), details of their data protection and privacy policies can be found here www.tickettailor.com/gdpr. Here you are given the option to opt in to receive marketing emails and newsletters. You have the right at any point to ask to be taken off of this mailing list.

Data is also collected through you writing your name and email address in the contact form on the contact page of the website www.compassionatevoice.co.uk. This information is stored on our Wix account and within a database which is kept in a password protected cloud storage on an Office 365 system. The information is stored and used to send information about current and future courses. No data is shared. ​The contact form gives you the option to opt in to receive marketing emails and newsletters. You have the right at any point to ask to be taken off of this mailing list.

Data is additionally collected and stored when you fill in the Google Form Health Questionnaire and Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire. These questionnaires are designed to guide you in terms of necessity of contacting your GP before taking part in sessions and also inform us of any conditions that might require modifications of practices and sessions. This information is stored on our Wix account and within a database which is kept in a password protected cloud storage on an Office 365 system until it is no longer required. No data is shared. You have the right at any point to ask for this information to be deleted or updated.
